All Euroleague Team comes naturally after one week of selection for the seasonal awards. These guys deserved it all.
After one week of awards to the players that showed their best in any category of the game, it’s time for the STARTING 5 of the league.
5 players that showed their bets and deserved to be included in the ALL EUROLEAGUE TEAM.
Till now Eurodevotion staff selected Nik Melli as the “best defender”, Sasha Vezenkov as the “most improved player”, Devon Hall as the “rookie of the year”, Georgios Bartzokas as the “coach of the year” and finally Nikola Mirotic as the “most valuable player”.
So now two guys from that list deserved the selection in the ALL EUROLEAGUE TEAM, while three other names are new.
MIKE JAMES from AS Monaco, VASA MICIC from Efes Istanbul, SASHA VEZENKOV from Olympiacos Athens, NIKOLA MIROTIC from FC Barcelona and WALTER TAVARES from Real Madrid are completing our magical “starting five”.
MJ got 18 preferences out of 19 possible sections, while Vasa Micic, the reigning Final 4 MVP got 14 as well as Tavares. Sasha Vezenkov closed at 9 votes and the only player that was unanimously chosen was Nikola Mirotic, the phenomenal power forward from Fc Barcelona the was selected from all the members of Eurodevotion staff.
Other names? Melli got 4 votes, Sloukas 3 while 1 each went to Jokubaitis, Dorsey, Calathes, Larkin, Shields, Diallo and Nedovic.
