Visto lo spostamento delle Olimpiadi non vi era fretta di cancellare la stagione di Turkish Airlines Euroleague. Nessuna data certa, ma nemmeno l’idea NBA di giocare ad agosto.
According to Zalgiris GM Motiejunas, since Olympic tournaments were postponed, Euroleague board had no need to rush to cancel the season. There is no likely timeline when season might restart, though. But there is no intention to follow NBA scenario to finish the season in August

EL discuterà con ELPA ed EHCB sui problemi finanziari dovuti alla sospensione. Ci sarà probabilmente un accordo collettivo piuttosto che lasciare i club a gestire le posizioni individualmente.
Zalgiris GM Motiejunas also told Euroleague will discuss the financial commitments during the season suspension with ELPA & HC board. He said most likely it will be collective agreement on how to handle these financial situations, rather than clubs handling it individually.

E’ difficile quantificare oggi il danno finanziario causato dal coronavirus per oggi e per il futuro, ma nello scenario peggiore lo Zalgiris si vedrà obbligato a ridurre il budget del 33%.
Zalgiris GM Paulius Motiejunas told it’s very early to predict how coronavirus financial impact will affect Euroleague teams in the future, but in the worst scenario, Zalgiris might need to reduce their budget by 33%.
