Tahincioğlu Basketball Super League play-off final series … 3rd game at Ulker Sports Arena…Anadolu Efes defeated Fenerbahce Beko in this match , score was 74-57 and took the lead 2-1 in the series. Efes made the shots ,12/27,behind the three-point line and achieved a 44% of their score . Fenerbahce Beko was able to shot only 5 from the back of the line. The fourth game of this final series will be played on Saturday, June 15th.
At the beginning of the match, both teams were scoring underneath the basket, while Ali Muhammed was scoring 3 point shots , Fenerbahce Beko after the 5 minutes caught the advantage by 12-11. Sharing the ball well and getting ahead with the points that Moerman was scoring, Anadolu Efes increased the lead up to 7 points in the 7th minute with the Larkin’s three point shot and score was 12-19. In the remaining part of the quarter, both teams produced points from the outside shots but Anadolu Efes finished the first quarter ahead by 22-17.
During the first four minutes of the 2nd quarter Fenerbahce Beko closed the gap of the score by 21-22 with the help of Kalinic and Guler.Rest of the second quarter Beaubois scored the most for his team and made his team to go to the locker room for the half-time winning by 10 points , 36-26 .
When both of the teams came back from the half-time, they started the 3rd quarter with scoring reciprocally.Captain of Fenerbahce Beko got the unsportsmanlike foul meanwhile Anadolu Efes was taking the lead with the free throws of Larkin and Dunston making the score 43-35.Kalinic and Sloukas was scoring in the lane but replies of Beaubois and Micic were 3 point shots and closing the page of the 3rd quarter with the score of 56-45.
Last quarter of the game Ali Muhammed scores with the lay-up and closes the gap to 7 points (52-59). Fenerbahce’s turnovers with Efes’s shots made it to 11-0 series and in the 14th minute team of Ataman made the difference to the score which was 52-70. Shots of Larkin and Balbay maintained the victory and finished the game with the score of 74-57.
